The New Ross Bypass, which is progressing through the planning process, is currently at the pre-qualification stage. An Environmental Impact Study was published by Wexford County Council in late 2007. A key element of the N25 Waterford City Bypass was the River Suir Bridge, which running 475 metres long with a span of 230 metres, will be the longest span bridge in Ireland. The River Suir Bridge and the N25 Waterford City Bypass were officially opened in October 2009. |
