November 2009 Progress Report
The following developments took place in November:
METRO
Metro North
The oral hearing on the railway order application for Metro North re-opened on 30th November 2009.
HEAVY RAIL
Malahide Viaduct
The Malahide Viaduct in Dublin reopened on the 16th November. Full Northern Commuter and Belfast Enterprise services have now resumed.
Iarnród Éireann undertook the repair of the Malahide viaduct from within the provisions of their railway safety budget.
DART Underground
Iarnród Éireann are currently undertaking further public consultation to assess views on station locations. This will feed into the design of the project.
