HEAVY RAIL

Navan Rail Link

The contract for Phase 1 of this project from Clonsilla to Pace was officially signed on 10 November 2008. Enabling works have commenced on the 7.5 kilometre rail line.


ROADS

N18 Gort to Crusheen

The Minister turned the sod on the N18 Gort to Crusheen road scheme on Friday 14 November 2008. This new road scheme, due for completion in 2011, will consist of 23km of dual carriageway. This road will bypass the town of Gort and the village of Crusheen.
