Luas Citywest Extension

On 11th March, An Bord Pleanála held an oral hearing into the RPA’s application for a Railway Order (planning permission) in respect of the proposed Luas extension to Citywest. The decision of An Bord Pleanála on the application is awaited.

The N11 Kilpedder – Delgany Junction was opened to traffic on 7th March


AIRPORTS

City of Derry Airport

An initial payment was made in respect of the City of Derry Airport runway safety project, matching an earlier payment by the Northern Ireland authorities under the co-funding arrangement agreed by the two Governments.
