Progress on Metro North Project

The Minister for Transport, Martin Cullen, T.D. today (Tuesday, 21st February 2006) informed the Government of progress on Transport 21 projects. The Minister will announce the commencement of the public consultation process on Metro North next week.

Minister Cullen said: "These developments represent significant staging posts on the delivery of one of Transport 21's key projects - Metro North. We are now ready to start the physical groundwork on building the Metro service, running from St. Stephen's Green via the airport to Swords".
