A Ten-Year Transport Investment Framework is currently being prepared which will identify the investment and outline the measures that I believe are required in order to further develop all elements of national transport infrastructure.

While I am not in a position to outline details of the draft Framework pending a decision by Government in the matter, I have indicated previously that I expect the broad direction of the Framework to include transformation of the transport system in the Greater Dublin Area, with a particular focus on the public transport network.
